Microbusiness - Tuolumne, Amador, and Calaveras Counties
Creative Support Alternatives provides Microbusiness Services in Tuolumne, Amador, and Calaveras County to enable adults with developmental disabilities to pursue flexible self-employment. Our Microbusiness Services are vendored through Valley Mountain Regional Center.
Whether through teaching or training support, our services will assist people to:
- Utilize intensive person-centered planning tools and processes to fully determine: business concept of interest, commitment and capability, viability, marketplace options, etc.
- Access community resources (e.g. Entrepreneur Course series at Columbia College, CEO Club, Interwork Institute/SDSU (e.g. Disabled Businessperson’s Association, TACE project, CHIIP, Center for Emerging Leadership, SDSU College of Business))
- Collaborate with Social Security Administration as to the use of PASS and other programs that can support entrepreneurs. Utilize additional local resources, such as DRAIL, for benefits-advising for persons starting their own micro-businesses.
