Denise Martinez began working with Creative Support Alternatives in early 2007 as a Support Facilitator. What initially began as a “temporary job” to help pay for a High School graduation trip, quickly turned into a long-term commitment to people with disabilities. She continued to grow as a Support Facilitator and ultimately assumed the role of Community Living Coordinator in early 2014. Partnering with people with disabilities and empowering them to live full and inclusive lives quickly became second nature to Denise.

With the support and mentorship of our Leadership Team, Denise enrolled at Grossmont College with the goal of obtaining her degree in Respiratory Therapy. Having discovered her enthusiasm for the social service field at such a young age, while acquiring over 8 years of experience, it only made sense for Denise to return to school, acquire her degree, and continue to have a positive impact on the lives of those she supports and serves.
